著者のメモ：GoogleFiberのしくみ
私はギガビットインターネット速度とブロードバンドプロバイダーの有意義な選択の両方を本当に楽しみにしています。現在、私の近所の選択肢は30Mbpsケーブルまたは1MbpsDSLです。映画を貪欲にストリーミングするITプロフェッショナルにとって、それはまったく選択の余地がありません。
確かに、最初は、ビデオのバッファリングと遅いソフトウェアダウンロードの終了を意味するかもしれません。しかし、科学研究、グラフィックアート、映画など、人々が多くの帯域幅を必要とすることを行う分野でのオンラインコラボレーションのあらゆる種類の可能性も見ることができます。私はこれらの進歩の最前線にいないかもしれませんが、私は静かにそれらを称賛し、ネットワークにお金を払うことによってそれらをサポートすることができます。さて、それは私たちがここでより速い速度を得るときです。今のところ、30MbpsのNetflix一気見セッションで満足する必要があります。
